avery and i spent the weekend in tulsa visiting our north carolina "family" and their loved ones. i did a lot of baby holding and toddler playing. we spent some time at the germanfest listening to german bands and played a lot. avery and kerri's niece, elle, lived it up from friday night to sunday mid-morning. they worked with leather art, baked cupcakes, rode dirt bikes, did a bit of target practicing, pole volted, and visited an amazing new park on the river. julie and david deserve a parenting gold medal for hosting these two wonderful old souls.
i love these people. they have been a part of my family since my boy was a mere 4 years old. they always welcome us with open arms. it is always sad when it is time to come home.
miss "bina baby" jammin' to some german music. she rocked and rolled through the entire show!

What a wonderful time we had! Thank you so much for coming to see us and the girls loved every minute of it. Ruth keeps talking about Avery and Sabina is looking around for JiJi to hold her!
