as you all know, our birthdays are celebrated every year in a two day window.
tobin was born in the wee hours on the 6th of april; avery was born in the mid-afternoon on the 6th of april; i was born in the morning on the 7th of april.
what a whirlwind birthdays have been since i met tobin...they have become even more so since the birth of our son.
when we asked avery what he wanted to do for his birthday, he insisted on a "van camp". we have done this before on our birthdays...on his 5th.
we never know what the weather is going to be like in april, so a van camp is an ideal idea. we camp at an rv spot so we can plug in a heater if we need to...which both times we have had to. this year the weather was soooo windy and very chilly. we were decked out with speakers, laptop, games, snacks, a movie...not really "camping", i'm afraid.
we enjoyed walking along the beach, watching the sunset, a fire, camp dinner, smores, music, scrabble, a movie, and without a doubt, one another.

Ahh, I miss the oklahoma scenery. That sunset is so gorgeous. Oklahoma has a really beautiful landscape with the flat land and open sky. Guess you don't realize until you leave. Ryder wants me to tell you that your van looks like the scooby doo mystery van. :)
