i had a very nice mother's day weekend. avery and i headed north to spend some time with my mom and dad, sister and nephew.
we had a great time and enjoyed a sunday at home with tobin.
my nephew, little dale, is growing as babies tend to do. he is crawling (very robotically) and is extremely smiley!
they got a lot of rain and live near a river...we biked down to it and were amazed at the river's power. i am pretty brave when it comes to a lot of things, but the power of water truly scares me. stems from the CRAZY kayaking leg of the adventure race i did a few years back.
i kept expecting to see a crazed animal sweep by in the current...but thank goodness, i didn't.
