this pic was taken (by tobin's long arm) four years ago. look how young avery looks! and no beard for tobin. i look pretty much the same...just four years younger. my how time flies. i don't like it. so much seems to have changed and yet, so much is still the same. i still use that table cloth (a gift from sonya). we still have dinner at that very same table. i still wear those glasses every once in awhile. my grandmother's china is still used. i still love that watch i am wearing. avery still smiles like that when he is leaning in for a pic. tobin still wears that sweater. i am thankful for all that has remained the same and all that changes with every passing day.

ohh...that one is a tear jerker. it doesn't seem like that much time has passed, but when i look at the pics of the kids you can really tell. unfortunately it will start to show on us before too long.
