i can feel the summer season winding down. i wake up to crisp, cool mornings. the buzzing of the cicadas is less and less each day. we all seem to be a bit livelier and more jaunty in our actions. i begin to moan about the endless heat that plagues us in oklahoma each year, but i am thankful for the four seasons that we do feel fully here. fall is around the corner and my light sweaters and jeans are getting antsy in the closet.

summer...it's been real
