ripley gives avery a hard time every morning as he is trying to get out of the door for school. it is all in fun in ripley's eyes, but avery becomes slightly annoyed. ripley steals a sock, unties a shoe lace, steals a drum stick, pulls on every strap on his back pack...anything that will make avery show him attention. when avery finally makes it out, ripley runs to the window and watches until avery is out of sight. it is quite sweet.
