well, it has happened...there is a hole in my house! tobin and adam took out the large window you saw before and opened her up!
it is very strange to look at and hopefully i won't have to look at it for very long.
jonah slept through the entire demolition. he came sauntering in to the dining room when he finally did awake and walked up to the hole and then proceeded to FALL out! we were all three standing very near and saw the entire debacle. he fell onto the pile of rubble below...strewn with bits of sharp wood, chunky plaster, and NAILS directly onto the left side of his face.
i am incredibly happy to say that he is 100% okay...can you believe it?! he is a very senior fellow and not even a limp out of him.
he is now grounded and must stay in the living room.

...no, that's not a joke.
we are putting a small french style door there...it will lead down into the new room. i think the door will be completely installed today...i'll post pics.
