our day

tobin and i actually managed to skip out of norman town today to shop for wood burning stoves. we are planning to put one in our new room, which we have been working on for over a year!
after shopping, which was fun, we stopped to have a bite to eat at an irish pub in downtown okc called mcnallies. as i was telling sonya, okc has transformed itself! this is a place i used to turn my nose up to, but now i feel like i need to visit more often. aside from the green living spaces going up everywhere, the downtown is beautiful! the niche little places that have gathered is amazing. i must encourage all of you that live in the area to spend more time there. downtown is about 15 minutes from our house and i totally see us visiting more often.
