we are prepping to go to a friend's party. we found out TWO days ago that it is a theme party...super hero (or cocktail dress)! i love these two people, but they are a bit late in...everything!
i decided i would come up with my own super heroine
( ;), jp) and use whatever i could that i already own.
like i said before my grandmother was a collector of gaudy (beautiful) jewelry. so, i decided i could go as "necklace woman" or some other variation of that. you can imagine...mr. T worthy collection of necklaces worn around my neck (i am feeling the weight and it is only 8:45!), each having some special super power.
i also broke out my beloved fedora...something i undoubtedly thrifted and the mask i made from a few halloweens ago.
tobin, the ever so creative fellow, came up with the name "lavaleir"...french for roughly "necklace". so here i am, ready to bring in any holiday in my favorite way...costume!!
let's hear it for "LAVALIER"...ready to protect and uphold what is right at any moment, any where!
i will post more pics as the night reveals it's super heros....(including tobin's as i get a better pic of him.)
