it has been a LONG day. avery and i have been bustling around getting ready for the big day and our much anticipated company. we have been cooking, cleaning, crafting, wrapping, arguing, singing, crying, laughing, a tiny bit of shopping (neighborhood grocery...nothing too scary), and are about to start the gingerbread house a-makin'.
i thought i should take a second to post the ornament of the day....starring avery! this was what the ol' guy looked like in 2002. makes me tear up! time passes so quickly and try as i might to s-l-o-w things down i have found i must surrender to change.
